As part of our recent renovation of Poway Plaza, we worked closely with the City of Poway to plan improvements and enhancements. The renovation included three major elements:
Improving ingress and egress to the center, including increasing turn radii for entrances and exits, improving the existing Easterly exit on Poway Road, reconfiguring parking to improve drive lanes, and straightening out the fire lane access on the Western border of the property.
Updating the facade of the center to more of a Spanish Colonial feel, bringing it into conformance with the City of Poway's Poway Road Specific Plan.
Adding an elegantly landscaped outdoor seating area to the Northwest corner of the property, increasing the number of food service providers on Poway road.
The result has been a true public-private collaboration that has improved the center and enhances the community as a whole. We are very proud of the results of this collaboration.
